FOTD: Inspired and Living the Life

My life isn't perfect and at times I have thought of it as recklessly lived and crazy; but I guess my decisions in life (both the good and the not so good) have led me into living a life, I can call, my "almost dream life." Almost because nothing is perfect and, in a way, I can say that I am pretty happy with how things have been going. I am at the peak of my career, I am in a good relationship, I live on my own, and I still have time to spend with my friends and family.

Some people, especially my family, have been asking me when I'd be settling down and here's my message to them:

I am happy right now. Let me have the time and luxury to prepare for that next stage and let me live and savor this amazing moment in my life. I am just 25 and I am so enthused with the many more opportunities coming my way. As of the moment, this is where I want to be at. We will get there when we get there; but for now, I am where I want to be in my life.

PRODUCTS:

FACE: Maybelline Super Stay 24HR Makeup in Natural Beige | Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Silky Beige | NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine

EYES: Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown | Revlon Color Stay 16Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired | SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner in Black | SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black | Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

LIPS: Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist | MAC Satin Lipstick in Mocha

HOW I DID IT:

First, I poured out some of the Maybelline Super Stay 24HR Makeup in Natural Beige at the back of my right hand and applied it on my face using my left ring finger. After blending it well, I topped it with the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Silky Beige and my NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine on the cheeks just to give that subtle rosy glow since we would be focusing more on the eye makeup. If you're going for a heavy eye makeup, keep the blush and the lip color subtle so as not to look overly done and distract where the attention should be focused more on.

For the eyes, I filled in my brows using the Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown; then, I used my Revlon Color Stay 16Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired to do the colors on my eyes. I used, first, the blue shade all over my lids, the purple shade on my crease, a light touch of the green shade on my outer crease and the white shade form my brow bone. Then, I used the | SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner in Black on my upper lid, the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black on outer half of my waterline and finished the other half with the white shade from my Revlon Color Stay 16Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired. I, then, curled my lashes and used the Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black.

For my lips, I used the Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Peppermint Twist and topped it with the MAC Satin Lipstick in Mocha for that subtle and natural looking lip color.

This is not the time to be rushing things. Let us all savor and live life as it is. Enjoy the good things it offers and love every moment of it. Each day will craft us to be stronger, wiser and better. Just let things go with the flow!
