Snoe Hair Heroes Spectrum

It’s no secret how I get easily bored with my hair; either I’m going to impulsively cut it or get it colored. And as most of you already know, I had my hair colored pink last December and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made EVER. It’s sad though that I had to bid goodbye to my hair after two months because of (1) work and (2) personal reasons. I will tell you all about my new color in a separate blog post so for now, let’s focus on the product review, yes?

So while I had pink hair, it was imperative that I take extra care of my hair since it has been bleached and really prone to getting dry. Yikes! I had to change from a normal shampoo to a Sulfate-free shampoo and a St. Ives moisturizing conditioner specifically made for colored hair. But I don’t think it’s enough so it was such a blessing when Snoe gave me, as part of their Christmas gift to me, the Snoe Hair Heroes Spectrum to try out. It’s just what I need at that moment.

Bleach, permanent dyes, semi-permanent color and gloss fade with harsh shampoo and hair exposure to heat and sunlight. In the face of dullness and damage, Hair Heroes Spectrum intensies the shine of your color treated hair, protects your color from fade out and helps bring back the integrity of your strands after a chemical hit. What’s more, this unique hair hero can also be used as a full body wrap!

This product also brags to have:

Silt - promotes health and shine of colored hair. It saturates dry and depleted hair and scalp with moisture.

Coffee - rich in antioxidants. It imparts a rich, deeper tone with fantastic shine.

Goji Berry - a super fruit rich in antioxidants. It nourishes the hair and scalp of chemically-treated hair.

The Good Bits:

This little angel can do more than you thought it could. It can work as a Pre-Shampoo Damage Control, an Anti-Fade Cleansing Mud, a Post-Shampoo Conditioner, a Color Seal Masque, and a Hydrating Body Wrap. I love the scent of this product. I’m not good at describing scent but it’s something similar to how coffee smells like but not exactly coffee-ish. Ugh. I’m really the worst at describing scents. Don’t go asking me to review perfumes, K? LOL Anyway, it really did do wonders to my hair. Well I don’t think this product can solely take all the praises because I, personally, have already been taking care of it but this really did help. I’ve gotten compliments from salons I go to about how my hair, despite it being bleached, isn’t dry and brittle-ish. It has also managed to maintain its shine and color even though I use shampoo once or two times a week. Even after just my first use, I already felt how it really conditioned and helped in keeping my hair moisturized despite of the bleaching. Oh and take note, I do wash my hair EVERYDAY.

The Bad Bits:

The product won’t last long especially for people with thick hair like me. It’s P899.00, a bit expensive, and was only able to use it up to two times per tub. Well, blame my thick hair. This made me think about how you can even use it as a body wrap. How many of this would you need to buy?

Over-All:

Hair Still looks healthy and moisturized despite being bleached and washing it everyday :)
It’s a product you might want to have once you get your hair colored or bleached. Just one small tub of this product may be enough if you’re also already taking care of your hair. I’m giving this a rating of 9/10. The next time I get my hair bleached or colored, I’m buying this again; but for now, I find it a bit pricey since I can finish this in just two usage. For a regular hair treatment product, I might prefer those of HBC. They’re less than 500 bucks and can last a month or two depending on how frequent you use it.

  1. This product sounds awesome for chemically treated hair although it is a small bottle! Thanks for sharing the review!

  2. Sayang it's too expensive! It's equivalent to 8 tubs of Watson's hair spa already lol. But your pink hair looks bouncy here! Worth it naman!

  6. It's expensive nga :( But I bet it is worth the price naman. I have my hair colored for the first time last year and I'm bad at taking care of my hair :(

I have looong (up to waist) and thick hair so I think na baka isang gamitan lang yan sakin :(

I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog today and for your encouragement as you mentioned you recently got back into blogging after a long break of needing to reevaluate the reason you blog and how you wanted to inspire your readers above all.Blogging is definitely ALOT of work but fun work as long as we don't make it our life or goal to make it HUGE in a short period of time.
Thank you for taking the time to mention this and it's nice to meet you.
