Filipino Pride - Happy Andrada

We have world-class talents here in the Philippines, agree? We may be living in a third world country but it sure did not stop a lot of our fellow Filipinos to stand up and show the world what the Filipino race really is made of. May only be half Filipino but just look at Jessica Sanchez and how she's doing in American Idol. Hell, I'm not an AI fan but Jessica's all over the news. Look at Pacquiao, Lea Salonga, Charice, Michael Cinco... So many great talents. But that doesn't stop there, you see, we have another Filipino talent who is certainly making her way to the global Fashion industry - Happy Andrada.


I've been hearing about the Andrada sisters before but only got the chance to meet up with one of them, Viva, during the Blogapalooza last year. Next thing I know, I got invited to their Anniversary party in the F*ART head quarters. After hearing about what F*ART is during the Blogapalooza, I got really curious but never got the chance to really visit the boutique till their anniversary party. During that night, I was able to meet Happy Andrada and her awesome collection displayed in their boutique. She's got such a unique collection which will definitely tickle your fancy. She even got great lolita outfits in their boutique. 


Just recently, Happy Andrada won the Miami Beach International Fashion Week's Emerging Designer of the Year 2012. Yey! Congrats Happy! Upon seeing your collection in the F*ART boutique I just know you deserve the award and many more to come for sure! Hey, but it's not the first time Happy got an award. You see, she is also one of the winners of the Swatch watch Enter the Dragon Competition 2012, Fashion Design Council of the Philippines Smart Choice Winner in Weaving the Future Competition, Grand Prize winner for the Swatch watch My Rabbit Story 2011 and awarded as Inspiring Young Filipino Entrepreneur by Go Negosyo in 2010. She also represented the country in Art & Fashion Week held in Toronto, Canada, Top Style Designer Event in Czech Republic, Fashion Art Exhibit in Netherlands, the Animax featured designer during the Toy, Games & Comic Convention in Singapore, International  Fashion Art Biennale in Korea and Fashion Design Competition in Japan.
