Summer might have been close to being over but this doesn’t
mean it’s already too late to create a makeup look which we can all sport till
the remaining summer days.
I haven’t actually been to the beach yet for this summer
because I’ve been loaded and bombarded with work. The good thing though is I
think the org I work for is planning on a corporate outing somewhere in
Zambales. No definitely location yet but it would definitely be this May. I so
can’t wait! Well, honestly, I’m not much of a beach person but I do love
looking the sea, the sun and the sand which totally puts me in the mood to work
on another poem and I just can’t wait to be inspired again. And because of that
awesome news, I just can’t help myself but create a makeup look which I can
call my summer makeup look because of how light and bright it is.
As you might have noticed, I have been practicing on my
contouring but I’m skipping on the contouring part this time just to keep
everything fresh for this look. Hey, this is a summer makeup look so let’s make
this as light as possible, right?

HOW I DID IT:
For starters, I just did my usual foundation routine: The
SanSan BB Cream applied evenly on my face then used the SanSan Foundation Cream
as my concealer. After that, I used the Snoe Fresh Custard Body and Face Powder
in Nectarine Ginger Tea to set my foundation, used the NYC Cheek Glow Powder
Blush in West Side Wine as my blush and then I’m good!
Now, moving on to the eyes, I used the Bilena Color Pencil
in Brown to fill in my brows and then the Ever Bilena Advance HD Colorless
Mascara to tame them down. After that, I used the Virginia Olsen Mineral
Eyeshadow in Tulips all over my lids and then blended it with the darker brown
shade from my Rimmel Colour Rush Trio Eyeshadow in Orion with more emphasis on
the outer part of the lids and on the crease area. Then, I used the white shade
from the same eyeshadow palette for my brow bones and used the Virginia Olsen
Mineral Eyeshadow in Gold Bars for my inner eye corner. Then, I used the SanSan
Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black for my upper lid and the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner
in Black for my waterline. For the finishing touch on my eyes, I curled it and
used the Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black.
For the lips, I used the Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin
first and then topped it with my Skin Food The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet
& Deep which is a nude lip gloss I’m so totally loving. And yes, I still
use balm even if I’m using a lip gloss. Just like how Julia Roberts says it in
Pretty Woman, “I’m a safety gal!”
Oh I’ve been totally inspired to do FOTD’s more and I just
don’t know what put me back in the mood or is it because... Hmm... Hahaha!
Well, I hope you enjoy my FOTDs as you’d be seeing more of them but I do hope
you’d help me with pegs and inspirations. Do write down at the comments section
below for your suggestions as to what kind of look you’d want to see me do in
my next FOTD.
Thanks for reading and have an awesome day!
