FOTD: You Make Me Swoon

“I should know by now this is bound to get messy but I don’t care. No, I don’t care!”

If someone asks me if I’m in love right now, well what is love, really? It is a very complex emotion and I, honestly, do not have any idea if I am or it could be just an infatuation. All I know is that as of now, I am savouring the happiness life has been giving me and the time I get to spend with him. I really do not give a shit if this ends even before the real thing begins. I am just glad this happened – WE happened.

“Butterflies, dizzy head, fluttered heart beat...”

The afternoon was more of into appreciating the sights we’ve been seeing, the streets we're walking at and the shops we went to at the Cubao Expo. We were just two people, who happen to like each other, holding hands while visiting the shops and appreciating the beauty in everything that we see. We visited thrift shops, checked out a vinyl record shop, and stayed long at an antique shop. This was HIS thing and I am quite glad that I’m the one who was with him on his first time there.

“I know it’s safe for me to say that we don’t always see eye to eye but that’s what I like about you.”

Night came and we decided to grab a few bottles of beer at Fred’s (still at Cubao Expo). We both love the ambiance of the place and how you just pour your beer on a jar and drink from it. We were just there, exchanging thoughts, getting to know each other more and just enjoying the night. I smiled when he blurted out, “I haven’t had this much fun in years...” I didn’t say a word after that but I did send him a text message when I got home... “I haven’t been this happy since the first two years of my last relationship.”  We only get to see each other every weekends but that’s fine. We live in the same country, we both live in Metro Manila, we just have different priorities in life and each other’s company is our way of escaping the everyday struggles we face during the weekdays. We are each other’s drug pill that help remove the stress from our day to day struggles. We do that to each other.

“I will be the girl to set you free, help you put your mind at ease and you'll hold steady ground for me...”

This Friday, we will be back at the Cubao Expo for our scheduled Soul Card Reading with Ms. Sandy at The Reading Room. I am scared and excited at the same time.

HOW I DID IT:

Basically, you all know how the foundation routine goes so let’s proceed with the eye makeup okay? So after filling in my brows, I used the #1 shade I labelled in my Miss Bella Cosmetics Palette all over my lid and then used the #2 shade, which is kind of like a very dark brown color, on my crease and outer part of the lid and finally, the white shade labelled as #3 for my brow bone. 

For my lips, I just used the Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin topped with the Snoe Rouge Deluxe in Mauve Movement.

A good afternoon to night makeup look which is pretty easy to do, right?
