“Be sure you put your
feet in the right place, then stand firm.”
- Abraham Lincoln
Easier said than done;
I once read posted at our class room’s wall, way back in
elementary, that when you are faced with a dilemma, always choose the lesser
evil; but how would you know? That was always the question that has been
running in my mind since then. When facts are hidden from you, when lies are
presented to you, how would you know what to choose and how can you make that
ultimate decision?
Fact is, if you are going to do it alone, if you are going
to assess the situation all by your own personal understanding and knowledge,
you won’t be able to make the right decision. It is written in Philippians
4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus. ” Yes, I know, for
the first time I am quoting from the bible; but truth is, this passage has
helped me so much in making a huge leap in my life right now.
A week ago I was confused, bothered and I kept asking
myself, “What should you do? Where should
you go?” And then it hit me; I will never be able to do the best decision
if I don’t ask God for the guidance to do so. And for the first time in my
life, I stopped, genuinely prayed and ask God to give me the wisdom to make the
good decision that will direct me to the path He has crafted for me; and now I’m
here.
I took a leap of faith, I don’t know what to expect; but God
told me to be here and to support the cause He directed me to be at, so I did.
And even though things aren’t perfectly fine right now, I am starting to see
the light and the reason why God placed me here. I wasn’t here because of an
accident. I am here because God planned this path for me. And now, I believe, I
can clearly see the purpose as how God wanted my life to be.

HOW I DID IT:
I used a pump of the L’Oreal
le teint True Match in Nude Amber on my face and then half a pump to
further conceal the “still visible”
blemishes; and then to seal the foundation, I opted to use the LA Colors Loose
Powder in Medium, which is so perfect for my morena skin.
For the eyes, I used the Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown
to fill in my brows and to set it, I used the ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow
Clear Mascara. Now for the colors, I used the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Water
Terra Cotta all over my lids, the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Ash Gray for my
crease and the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Golden Chiffon for my inner lids. Then,
I used the SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black to line my upper lids and
the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black to line half of my waterline. Of course, I
will never forget to curl my lashes and use the Maybelline The Falsies Volum
Express Waterproof in Brownish Black on them.
For the lips, I used the Nanny Rose’s Queen Bee Lip Balm in
Four Slices of Raspberry Cheesecake topped with the SanSan Long Wearing Lip
Sheer in Peach Glow; and then I used the SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush as
the finishing touch to put some colors on my cheeks.
