Proud to be a Fierce Erzulliesta

Things have been pretty tough these past few weeks. There have major changes and adjustments in my life. However, I felt more free because, for once, I know that I am doing something that will finally make a difference. While I was on a temporary hiatus from most of my online activities, I was quite elated because, although my online presence was paling for a bit, Erzullie has featured me from their blog:

For this feature, I was wearing my Palazzo Pants from Erzullie. This is a reminder to everyone that you do not need to show skin just to show you’re sexy and to flaunt your beautiful curves. Plus size women have constantly been disconnected by the society from the word “sexy” because of how it is superficially defined by the majority; but for me, personally, being sexy is all about confidence and having the courage to show who you really are. And whoever said that it’s only the couples who would be having a blast this Valentine’s day? I beg to differ. I have been single for two years now and have been actively going out on dates. Some lasted for a few months; some only for a few weeks; while some didn’t even reach the second date! And what I have learned in the process is that dating is not just for romantic purposes but more for meeting new people and getting to know how you can connect in various ways.
