Things have been pretty tough these past few weeks. There have
major changes and adjustments in my life. However, I felt more free because,
for once, I know that I am doing something that will finally make a difference.
While I was on a temporary hiatus from most of my online activities, I was
quite elated because, although my online presence was paling for a bit,
Erzullie has featured me from their blog:

OOTD: Now This is My Time
Whenever we would be thrown a question regarding regrets we’ve
had in the past, the most common answer is always, “I don’t have any regrets...”
But honestly, deep down inside, we know there are things, which we should not
have done and we just know that things might be better if they never happened;
but who are we to know? We don’t have the power to go back in time, erase those
moments and just continue living and being better. There would be times when I
wish I didn’t do the mistakes I have done in the past; but after a few moments,
I would just smile and say to myself, “silly
you, if they never happened, would you ever be this strong?”

OOTD: Ignite the Light and Let it Shine
This is not a totally new outfit. As a matter of fact, I have already posted this before; but if you would take a closer look there were some minor changes with the overall look, not of the clothes, but the way I styled it by adding some accessories and changing some parts of it. I was just suppose to blog about the When In Manila Christmas Party in Arcama last night but I have decided to convert it in an outfit post since I don’t have much pictures of the event and I was suddenly inspired by what happened today, which I can, somehow, connect to an unexpected thing at last night’s party.

Superb Sunday at the Global Pinoy Bazaar and What Happened After
November 24, 2013 – The last day of the Global Pinoy Bazaar
in Rockwell tent organized by Yabang Pinoy. It is an annual bazaar showcasing
Philippine-made products from beauty to fashion and food and many more. As a Philippine-made products advocate, I would, definitely, not want to miss this
bazaar. So, I woke up at around 8AM, put a casual outfit on and took the cab
till Galleria to meet up with a friend. We decided to go to the bazaar together
and hangout afterwards. It was a Sunday well spent!

I'm Hoping to See you at the Erzullie Pop Shop!
Bazaars – It has become quite the trend nowadays and some
people would really rather wait for an upcoming one and go straight to bazaars
for their stuff rather than take a trip to the mall where stuff can sometimes
be a bit overpriced. I have been to bazaars countless times and I must say that
I do enjoy shopping in one than going to a mall. Hahaha!

Release the Alpha Female in You
I have always believed that one’s shape, size or look should never appear as a hindrance to his/her success and that is one of the reasons why this blog is here. I want every women in the world to have the confidence to fulfill their dreams, to be successful and to be happy whoever they are or whatever their shape or size is. I want to be an example that I may not be thin, I may not be the normal fashion blogger people would usually admire, but I know that I can be beautiful in my own and unique way; and well, you can be too!

Pinay Curvies' Swap Meet & Greet - What I'm Bringing
Hola beautiful people! I’m starting to blog regularly again
and hopefully I’d be able to keep this up but hopes are just hopes till I make
them a reality, right? Well, first things first... What’s up with me? Well, I’m
busy with work since I’m handling two magazines right now plus I’m part of the
campaign team of a party list our org (and I also do) supports so everything’s
kind of crazy with my professional life right now. But blogging is part of my
life now so... There! I’m still here and I have some really awesome news!

OOTD: My Sun Sets to Rise Again
This won't be just another outfit post wherein I'd tell you how my day went and what I wore. This post is more than just that. I was actually thinking if I'd make a separate blog post regarding my tat, but I decided to just merge it with this outfit post; because I'm so itching to show it to you all. As some of you may have known, I had my first ink last Friday and I'm really happy with that. People may think I'm rebelling or whatever (undercut, ink, get it?); but I'm not! I mean, why would I rebel in the first place?

Erzullie First Look: Holiday 2012
Growing up as a plus-size lady was not easy. Yes, I grew up packed with lots of confidence and I'm pretty tough in dealing with criticisms such as, "you're beautiful, only you're fat" or people calling you names because of your shape or size. Whatever their intentions may be, it's still quite hard to hear those words because being plus size will not define an individual's personality and it doesn't mean one cannot be successful. I finished college and got a good job in line with my passion and I'm pretty proud of where I am now. So, being plus size isn't really a bad thing, you know?

Erzullie Resort 2012: Soft Fierce

"Who run the world? Girls!" That song has been playing in my mind the moment I saw the Erzullie Resort 2012 collection with the theme: Soft Fierce. What is Erzullie, you ask? They're just one of my favorite clothing line for plus-size women. I met them during the Global Pinoy Bazaar last year. Aries and Berna are two of the most awesome and gorgeous plus-size women I've met and so are their designs. You all know for fact how I support (1) the local cosmetics industry and (2) plus-size women and I'm glad that lines like Erzullie are stepping out now. So proud of you, girls.
Now out of my love and support for the brand and the two girls behind it, I would like to share to you the 2012 Resort Collection of Erzullie. According to Aries and Berna, "It's basically the fashion line toning down a bit, without losing its attitude. The collection is full of breezy and comfortable clothing from basics to high fashion items." Now aren't you excited to see what they're talking about? I know I am! So without further ado, pave way to the Erzullie Resort 2012 Collection:

OOTD: Corporate Fabulous
![]() |
| Take One! :P |
As you all know, I have a day job, which is still a writer (publications associate to be more specific) so I can't just go dress up like I'm going to a party 'cos KMBI has got quite some strict policy with regard to dressing up and all those stuff. So, I need an outfit which would be acceptable at work and would still look fab once I go to the Primadonna event.

| Take Two! |
The pictures are a bit far; but I might post a better one soon coming from Jen of Shopgirl Jen's camera. Her cam managed to produce amazing pictures. It made us look like real models. LOL.
Anyway, I'm really exhausted and I still have work tomorrow. So, I guess this is it for now. Till next blog post! :)

Gelleesh at The Global Pinoy Bazaar
I have been blogging and tweeting about the Global Pinoy Bazaar since July and I guess that's quite an indication about how excited I was for this event. I'm proud for this organized bazaar by Yabang Pinoy because they showcased Filipino made products and the stuff at the bazaar are just so amazing.
I am guilty to have not been much of a Filipino made stuff fan; but when I visited the bazaar, I immediately fell in love with Filipino made products. There's this stereotype that when you say Filipino made stuff, you'd think of those native bags and the likes; but I stand corrected. There are lots of cute hand-made accessories, wallets, great clothes, organic cosmetics and other unique stuff you'd surely drool over.
My first purchase was from the amazing girls of Erzullie. I remember trying out for their model-search and I got passed the first part; but when I'm about to attend the official go-see, I sprained my ankle the night before and I couldn't walk well. So, I forfeited from the model search. However, I'm glad I finally get to meet 'em during the bazaar. They're so nice and it's actually their anniversary so some of the clothes were 50% off! I bought a blazer from them which I would be showing off in an OOTD soon. It's a surprise!
Finally, I got to meet Anagon of The Fashionista Commuter! I am a follower of her blog and then I found out that she is my officemate's Ana Vineles (yes, an Ana too), cousin. Small world, IKR! I have been eyeing the gold wired headband from her accessories shop so I finally bought it on that day. She is super nice and her accessories are super cute! Got the headband for only P200.00!
Meet Geoff and Martha. They're cousins and they share a booth at the bazaar. Geoff owns The Beach Baby while Martha owns Vesti. Okay, what is The Beach Baby? They sell beach wears that doubles as lounge and sleep wears! I bought cute cotton shorts from them. One for me and for my mommy dear. Geoff was super sweet and nice. I immediately felt at ease with her super bubbly personality and I'd soon be getting some stuff from her soon because Summer's almost here! After the chilly Christmas comes, Summer, right? Martha, on the other hand, designs and makes these awesome bags. They go from chic to formal and just simply creative bags.
Pitaka. If you're a Filipino, you definitely know what means. It is a Filipino word which means wallet. It's what Pitaka, literally sells. It's another store owned by Ana Patricia Locsin. The wallets can actually be your own design. You can inquire at her online shop: pitakaonline.multiply.com.
I finally met Ginger! She's the one I email and text about HYD's Fashion Face Off. I'm one of their blogger sponsors for the said contest and I must say, the designs are better in person! They actually have an on-going contest which I would be blogging about soon, so better watch out for it. This is for those who would be buying from the collection of the HYD finalists. Better hold on to your seats because it really is an exciting one!
The other shops I visited: JNBM Paper Clay (I bought some for my inaanak for Christmas!) | Punch Drunk Panda (I'm buying a laptop sleeve from them soon! Super cute designs, Filipino-made and they truly do showcase the creativity of our Filipino artists!) | Quiddity (Hand-made cute notebooks!) | Lotus (Soaps which have unique scents and flavors. They even have one in chocolate. Cool, eh?)
The bazaar was beyond awesome. I really enjoyed shopping especially when my shopping buddy for the day came: Micah of PrincessMicah.com. After we've tired out feet off of walking around the bazaar and drooling over the cool stuff we've seen, we had dinner and on the way, we saw these designer bag cupcakes. Cuteness! I actually want to buy one but I'm kind of scared that it may just be ruined on the way home or I might not have the guts to eat the very pretty cupcake. So, I was satisfied with taking a picture.
I have been a supporter of Yabang Pinoy ever since I came across them through my blogging escapades. I now have their Yabang Pinoy bracelet which I wear everywhere I go. I'm proud of it! I hope another event like this will happen next year. I want to buy more Filipino made stuff because people might often take them for granted, but I'm a witness of how creative and innovative Filipinos can be through the Global Pinoy Bazaar!
