FOTD: A Second Chance

I don't want to believe it at first but it seems like it's real. Second chances may happen but is it worth it? A love story that has once been closed... Can it still have a surprisingly good sequel? I'd have to say that there would be times when my reminiscing of the past turns into wishes of how I'd would prefer things to happen or to end up as; but fact remains... It's the past and there's nothing I can do to craft a change unless there would be, like right now, a second chance at what could have been and what might have been.

However, some things did change but there is still that spark. You cannot, however, deny the fact that there are still doubts. What if this will just break my heart?

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE: L’Oreal le teint True Match in Nude Amber | Nichido Bronzing Powder in GO Bronze | NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine

EYES: Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown | ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara | Revlon Color Stay 16 Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired (Purple Shade) | SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Golden Chiffon | SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black | SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black | Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black

LIPS: Nanny Rose’s Queen Bee Lip Balm in Four Slices of Raspberry Cheesecake | Snoe Rouge Deluxe Lipstick in Precious Pout | NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Plush Red

HOW I DID IT:

I started off with using a full pump of the L’Oreal le teint True Match in Nude Amber at the back of my hand and dabbing it carefully on my face using my finger. I, then, blended it well on my face and used another half a pump, which will help further cover up my blemishes. Then, I used the Nichido Bronzing Powder in GO Bronze for some glam and glitters and to set my foundation, as well and the NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in West Side Wine for some blush on my cheeks.

For the eyes, I did my brows first with the Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown by outlining my brows and then smudging it using a brow brush. Then, I set and tamed them using my ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara. For the colors on my lids, I used the  SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Golden Chiffon on my lids and then the Revlon Color Stay 16 Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired (Purple Shade) for my crease. Then I lined my upper lid with SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black and half of my waterline with the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in Black. For the final touch, I curled my lashes and used the | Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black.

I, again, did the gradient lip coloring technique! After putting the : Nanny Rose’s Queen Bee Lip Balm in Four Slices of Raspberry Cheesecake on my lips, I used the Snoe Rouge Deluxe Lipstick in Precious Pout and blended it with the NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Plush Red for that gradient effect.

The only way for me to find out if things will work out the second time around is to, actually, give it a try. It can be a learning experience or something that will work out. I'm just hoping for the best, right now. Good luck to me!

  2. This look is so pretty! Good for daytime since it's not-so-out-there, but perfect for the evening too. And you look more and more beautiful, Gelz! :) Anyway, I personally find it hard to believe in second chances. But like you said, you'd never know if it'll work unless you try. Wishing you all the luck! <3
