I have slowly been adjusting to living in a new environment. I got used to the simple and peaceful life in the province (after almost three years of staying in Pampanga) and then all of a sudden, BOOM! I’m back in Manila... And not just any place in Manila, I’m in Katipunan!

FOTD: Soft Glam Makeup Look

I guess it’s not a secret that I love putting makeup on. I love experimenting on new looks, trying out new products, and seeing well-blended eye makeups a lot! Some people at work would be surprised at the amount of products I put on my face compared to theirs. I would hear remarks such as, “you don’t need that much products,” or some curious questions such as, “why do you need to use that?”

I have been pretty stressed and busy lately at work. It kind of feel like I need something new or a change in my routine. I have thought getting a haircut a week ago but I remember that I have been trying to grow my hair longer because I’d want to have it styled wavy or curly at the bottom… So short hair? Not today. And then it dawned on me that I have been doing the same makeup look at work over and over again. I need to start being creative with my makeup looks again! And now you might see more frequent FOTD posts from this blog (which can also mean more makeup purchases to be able to experiment more)!

It’s been awhile since I last posted a makeup look, right? I’ve been keeping my look really simple these past few months because I’ve been really busy and stressed with a lot of things; but still there are some people who have asked me about the makeup look I normally wear on my selfie photos. I guess it’s still worth blogging about eh?

My 2015 Christmas Wishlist

Hello December!

I am not yet done with my Christmas shopping but I definitely have something for all my god children so, kids, I will see you on Christmas Day! But of course, it’s not just about giving and sharing what you have but also giving something for yourself… And so I’m creating this wish list. I’m not saying I NEED TO HAVE THESE by Christmas but what I mean is that I’m hoping to get one of these for myself on Christmas and this can also serve as a guide to all my friends and loved ones who might be thinking about what to give me. Teehee!

Work has been piling up these past few weeks because of some changes and challenges in our organization. Plans, reports, layouts… Handling the Marketing and Communication isn’t a walk in the park, I tell you. One must be, somehow, a visionary and can continuously innovate and fast to adapt to changes.

FOTD: Casual Friday Makeup Look

I didn't put makeup on for almost a week because my skin was still in its "light peeling" process since I burned it from last weekend's Zambales beach trip with my family. I usually just fill in my brows, use lip balm, and pat on a powder lightly all over my face; but this Friday, I think it's almost okay. So after applying moisturizer on, time to get my glam on.

FOTD: Feeling A Lot Better

So I was not feeling well yesterday and spent the whole day resting and sleeping. But because there's so much work to do at the office (not to mention the projects I've started outside of work), I needed to get well really fast. Thank God that I'm feeling a lot better now but still not fully recovered though. I will miss a week of working out at the gym (boo!) but as soon as I get better, I'm so going back to working out. I need to be at my 100%.

To tell you quite frankly, I'm not a big fan of summer. Well, I guess when I was still in school I would count down the days when summer would come just because I can stay up late, wake up late, and just play all day; but it's different when you're already working.

FOTD: I Miss You Summer

Whenever it's summer I would constantly hate the fact that it can be too hot! Since I work for Non-Profit Organization, work will sometimes entail me to visit some places that can make me sweat like crazy and I hate feeling all sticky and sweaty (unless, of course, during workout sessions). I feel like I want to run back home and take a bath for an hour! Can you feel me, sister?

FOTD: Forever Young

I'm turning 25 in two weeks. Yes... My birthday is coming soon. And you know what they say when you turn 25 - you need to start using a good anti-aging moisturizer to keep your skin from aging! With that being said, does it mean that 25 is the age when you can truly call yourself an official adult?

FOTD: A Second Chance

I don't want to believe it at first but it seems like it's real. Second chances may happen but is it worth it? A love story that has once been closed... Can it still have a surprisingly good sequel? I'd have to say that there would be times when my reminiscing of the past turns into wishes of how I'd would prefer things to happen or to end up as; but fact remains... It's the past and there's nothing I can do to craft a change unless there would be, like right now, a second chance at what could have been and what might have been.

It was a blur to me at first and my decision to join and stand up for this cause was not that strong. I almost backed out because I feel like I don’t need this and that these people can do it by themselves. But when I prayed really hard, asked God to give me the wisdom in making decisions, really took the time to listen to Him, my eyes were opened to the real reason why He wants me to stay – it’s because I am part of the change that He has been planning. I needed to step out of my comfort zone and experience so many changes to be able to realize that I do not need to live the kind of life I used to have just to keep me satisfied – that true happiness comes from knowing that what you are doing is creating an impact and that you have, genuinely, touched lives and inspired people.

You won’t always have the luxury of time to just sit on your vanity table and pick which color you would like to wear on your eyes or maybe what kind of makeup you should be doing. Sometimes, you just need to have a ready-to-wear makeup look for those times when you’re just in a hurry because you woke up late *cough* or you need to be at work early morning. You don’t want to go waking up too early just to get your makeup done, right?

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

I have been resisting the urge to buy the NYX Matte Lip Cream. It kind of scared me because it’s MATTE and my lips are prone to drying up. Boo! But when I wanted to do a mini-haul at Digital Traincase because I got the P250.00 off my purchase when I signed-up for their newsletter and I was not strong enough to resist the beauty of the Matte Lip Cream! I’ve read good reviews about it so why not give it a try, then?

Happy weekend everyone! I've been going out a bit much these past few days. Oh, I'm just stressed and been thinking about lots of things lately. Yeah, I'm an emo now. LOL. Kiddin' aside, I went out again tonight (Sunday) but it's a family affair so all's good. However, Sat night, I was actually out with a few good friends for some good talk with some good booze. Well, we're young aren't we? Let us be, please! Hahaha!

One day I got bored. So, after I get back home from work, I decided to put some makeup on. You see, I haven't been putting makeup for work these past few days because I always tend to wake up late since you're all aware that I have also been staying up really late, right? Anyway, so I grabbed some makeup and this is what I came up with. This is just so basic. I mean, I would love to show you guys how you can re-create a pin-up makeup look - the basic and what you need to have.

FOTD: Keeping it Light

For this post, I will be showing you how I look like everyday when I go to work. You see, because my work place is nearer now to where I live (20 mins away) I told myself that I'd have more time to do my makeup in the morning. You all know the long process - Moisturize, foundation, conceal, brows, eye makeup, blush, lips... Well, it's quite a long process for me and they can sometimes be too heavy to wear esp since it's Summer and when I'm outside, sweat can be my best pal. So, this look won't be hard to do... That I'll bet on!
