Work has been piling up these past few weeks because of some changes and challenges in our organization. Plans, reports, layouts… Handling the Marketing and Communication isn’t a walk in the park, I tell you. One must be, somehow, a visionary and can continuously innovate and fast to adapt to changes.
I remember back when I was still a rank and file staff, I would often wonder what’s so hard in becoming a leader. I mean, I do all the hard work and all my boss had to do was to criticize and, after a dozen of revisions, approve my output. Well, I guess you’ll never really know until you’re already there. And now, I realized how tough it was and that what I did back then was the walk in the park… This one is the hike!
But even though things can be stressful at times, we shouldn’t let it get to us, right? One way of doing that is by still looking good at work; hence, I did this easy daily office girl makeup blog tutorial for all of you, working girls, who also wouldn’t want to look stressed at work no matter how piled up our tasks may be. So, shall we begin?
FACE: L’Oreal Le Teint True Match in Nude Honey | MAC Mineralize Concealer in NW35 | Benefit The Porefessional Shine-Vanishing Pro Powder | SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush
EYES: IN2IT Triangular Eyebrow Liner in WTB02 Tawny | NYX Escape with Rico 3 Color Shadow Palette in Love in Rio | Maybelline Eye Studio Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner in Black | Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl | Maybelline The Hyper Curl Volum Express Waterproof in Very Black
LIPS: Snoe Magic Beso Balm | Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lippie in Best Date Ever
HOW I DID IT:
I started off with applying the L’Oreal Le Teint True Match in Nude Honey all over my face and then the MAC Mineralize Concealer in NW35 on my under eye area. I applied it in a reverse triangle manner and then blended it using my ring finger. After that, I topped it with the Benefit The Porefessional Shine-Vanishing Pro Powder to keep my face shine-free and give it a matte finish.
For the eyes, I first used the IN2IT Triangular Eyebrow Liner in WTB02 Tawny to line and fill up my brows. After that, I used the lighter brown shade from the NYX Escape with Rico 3 Color Shadow Palette in Love in Rio all over my lids and the darker brown shade for the outer crease area. Then, I lined my upper lid with the Maybelline Eye Studio Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner in Black and the half of my waterline with the Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl. Afterwards, I used the Maybelline The Hyper Curl Volum Express Waterproof in Very Black for my lashes.
For the finishing touches, I used the SanSan Cheek Blusher in Rosy Blush on my cheeks, the Snoe Magic Beso Balm on my lips and then I topped it off with the Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lippie in Best Date Ever for that fierce matte lip look.
Do you think you can give this makeup look a try when you go to work? Why not, right?
