Tips from a Frugal Beauty Junkie

I wasn’t always into makeup. I remember “trying” to put makeup on back in college and ended up with a pair of glossy lips and electric blue eyeshadow color. Yikes! But I eventually started falling in love with makeup and skin care products just around 5 or 6 years ago when a friend of mine started giving me online makeup tutorials and encouraged me to blog about my progress (Thanks a mil, Celine!).

Choosing My First Anti-Aging Moisturizing Cream

I just, officially, turned 25! I remember my mom telling me, while we were having our lunch out, that she already got married at that age. And... Here I am, still wearing my cat ears headband. Teehee! I still feel young and I still want to be young, so my mom told me: "It's about time you get an anti-aging moisturizer, young lady."

Stay away Stye - Personal Eye Care Tips from Experience

Me during the first few days of my stye before I went to the doctor
It's such a pain to inform you all that I won't be wearing eye makeup for the next few days, or even weeks, because of a stye that has developed in my right eye a few days ago. It's not something serious, actually; but I would want to keep my eyes clean and safe for a few more days before I start putting eye makeup on again. Although not putting eye makeup on saves so much of my time, of course I miss it and I can't wait till my right eye is fully healed.

Beauty 101: Go Moisturize!

I've always had dry skin problems and when I was younger (high school young, to be specific), I really don't care about how my skin gets white when you scratch it. A lot of my friends in HS are guys so they don't really care much about these stuff. And, it's fun when I can write stuff on my skin. Moisturize is something I hear from my mom, but didn't really understand it.

Beauty 101: All About Threading

First time I had my brows done was back in HS for our Senior's Prom. After that, I would either pluck 'em (which takes a lot of my time) or have 'em shaved again. However, shaving wasn't very convenient since (1) I do not know how to shave my brows properly and (2) it isn't very budget friendly since I had to come back after a week or two at most just to maintain it. When I saw my mum having her brows threaded, I asked her if I could have mine done like that and she said I would not be able to tolerate the pain. So, thinking it was really THAT painful, I decided to pass on threading.
