“Touching him was like realizing all you ever wanted was right there in front of you...”
Butterflies in my stomach – is this it? We can often confuse infatuation with the real thing. But how do we really know what the real thing is until we let ourselves fall. Take the risk and don’t be afraid to get hurt – or at least that’s what I always tell myself. But I am afraid; still very afraid. It’s just not logical to intentionally want to get yourself hurt but, eventually, if the love is greater, maybe we won’t mind if we get hurt in the end. Just cry it all out if it turns pretty bad, they say!
“Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer...”
Eventually we will come to realize that love is not that surreal scene playing up in our heads. Love is real and love will hurt at one point or another. It’s holding on and appreciating every bit of it that will help the relationship grow stronger. Wait, who am I to talk about love like such? I am single, anyway. But I’ve had my fair shares of good and bad relationships. I have learned things and I may go apply them on my next or NOT. I guess I’ll never really know for sure until I go test the waters, myself.
For this makeup look, I chose to go all pink-ish and red. I feel like it is the total epitome of my current state and how I am feeling. I feel like I’m there but then... Maybe not. Well, who knows for sure?
FACE: SanSan BB Cream | SanSan Foundation Cream | LA Colors Loose Powder in Medium | Clinique Soft-Pressed Powder Blush in Pink Blush
EYES: Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown | Ever Bilena Advanced HD Colorless Mascara | SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Pink Opal | Beauty and Minerals Eyeshadow in SM Bronze | SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Brown | SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in black | Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black
LIPS: Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin | NYX Round Lipstick in Heredes
HOW I DID IT:
Let’s start with getting a flawless face by using the SanSan BB Cream as the foundation and then using a foundation brush, use the SanSan Foundation Cream on the under eye area and other parts where the BB Cream wasn’t able to cover much. I, then, set the foundation and concealing with the LA Colors Loose Powder in Medium and used the Clinique Soft-Pressed Powder Blush in Pink Blush to give my cheeks some natural pinkish and youthful blush.
For the eyes, I filled in my brows using the Ever Bilena Color Pencil in Brown and then set it with the Ever Bilena Advanced HD Colorless Mascara. Then, I used the | Beauty and Minerals Eyeshadow in SM Bronze all over my lids, applied using my trusted fingers, but for the crease area and outer lid, I used my blending brush to apply and blend the SanSan CYO Eyeshadow in Pink Opal to the previous eyeshadow. Blend well to avoid harsh edges, okay? Then, I used the SanSan Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Brown for the wing, the SanSan Kohl Eyeliner in black for my waterline and the Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof in Brownish Black for my lashes.
For the lips, I opted for a slightly nude one by using my Lip Ice Lip Balm in Orange Mandarin first to prepare for the lipstick which is the NYX Round Lipstick in Heredes.
A makeup look that says you’re in love and ready to take the risk. But am I really?
