Saizen Blogger Shopping Party

One of my dream destinations is Japan. I mean, they just have such a rich culture and the fashion sense of the people there are just super ultracalifragilistic cool. Admit it, you've always wanted to walk out of your home cosplaying, wearing lolita, being all ganguro or harajuku girl without looking like a total odd ball. Well, in Japan, do as the Japanese do! Hahaha! Well, honestly, who am I to say that Japan is totally cosplay-ish. I haven't been there; and that's why I wanted to. But for now, one of the closest thing to Japan I can be is at Saizen.

What is Saizen?

Well, basically, it's a store where they sell Japanese branded stuff for only P85. Yup, everything's P85 there. Awesome, right? I first found out about them through a beauty blog I am following and she reviewed the Saizen Charcoal Mask. And then one blogger after another did a feature and review of it. I got curious, asked around about Saizen and poof! I'm there. My sister and I bought our onigiri and bento making stuff in Saizen and I have quite a few stuff from the store too, myself. It's such a wonderland for someone who likes and appreciates the innovative nature of the Japanese people.

The Shopping Party:

I invited a few blogger friends to the Saizen Shopping Party in Trinoma. Being the host, it is but natural for me to be the first one to arrive. I was greeted and entertained by Ms. Grace, the store manager in Trinoma branch. While waiting for my other blogger friends, I roamed around, took pictures and I just can't decide what I'd be buying. If my budget's not an issue, I could have bought almost the whole store. Hahaha! Then, my blogger friends came and it was shopping time! Bloggers who were present that day were (in order of appearance): Genn of MissGennD.blogspot.com, Kei of KeiLifestyleCloset.com, Aya of CodenameAya.com, Jen of ShopgirlJen.blogspot.com, Kai of KaiSensei.blogspot.com and Rache of FashionistArchitect.blogspot.com

We bumped into each other from time to time while looking at the stuff Saizen offers. We tried on some head pieces and stared at some makeup, cute socks, accessories for making bento meals, stuff for pets, storage boxes, cute memo pads, organizers and notebooks, some weird looking stuff which are not really necessary but once you think about it, it could be super useful. There's even this stainless soap of some sort. Weird, but interesting. Thumbs  up to the Japanese people for inventing the most awesome stuff always. Oh, and I also spotted this one simple plastic thing which apparently helps people in wearing their shoes. I've seen this in anime shows and it's always kind of like part of what needs to be seen at home. I almost bought it. Hahahaha!

What I Bought:

I know Jin's a guy but can't guys have pink stuff? I bought this cute pink food bowl for Jin because he needs one already. He is growing fast and getting bigger so I need a more sturdy food bowl for him. So far, this food bowl from Saizen does the job well. Jin likes his pink food bowl and no, he's not gay.

The Strawberry Hand Cream just needs to be in my shopping bag. Saw its tester, opened it and the scent just got me. It smelled like strawberry flavored Pocky. I included it in my current giveaway so you might want to check that one out. You'll love the Strawberry Hand Cream to and you'd addicted to it, trust me. Hahaha!

The apple clip is now where I hang my necklaces. My accessories have been slowly but surely growing in numbers and I can't just leave them tied all together and when it's time to wear one of them, I need to get them off of each other; such a hassle! So I figured I should go buy a storage of my necklaces and seeing Kei buy a clip hanger made me realize that it could do the job. When I saw the apple clip hanger I know I found the one.

Saizen Foot Scrub and Foot Lotion are now one of my favorite bath buddies. I love having my feet pampered because they deserve all the love and care they can get from us; thus I didn't have any second thoughts into buying this one. Have you read my review about it?

The Puffy Cover Socks will be used for my cats performance; aside from that, they're just totally cute. Hahaha! After my Cats performance I actually don't know where else can I use it. Never mind. It's cute and it has a pink ribbon. Need I say more?

The storage boxes is now currently being used as the storage for my accessories and the other is for my makeup. I need to buy lots of storage stuff for my makeup and other random stuff. Blogging has brought so many stuff in my place that I just don't know where to place a lot of them and my mum's kind of getting pissed with all the mess on my desk, on my room and just about anywhere in the house.

With Ms. Grace and the awesome staff :)
Merienda time! :)
