New Hair Color - Etude House Bubble Hair Color in Gold Blonde

No blog post for two days. So not me, eh? I've been busy and exhausted these past days so please forgive my lack of posts. But I'm back and I'm showing you guys my new hair color. You see, lately, I've been contemplating on having something new done in my hair. I'm a bit experimental with hairstyles and hair colors although work won't allow a too crazy do, so I need to make sure that what I'd be doing is something which will satisfy my need to stand out but not too loud for work. It's quite a challenging decision because I'm just so outrageous and crazy so holding back would be quite hard.

Last Saturday, me and my family went to the Mall of Asia for an advance Father's Day dinner and when I passed by Etude House, I just know that this is it. I need to change my hair color. At first I was quite unsure; but when we passed Etude House the second time, I just know it's a sure sign. So I went in and bought myself the Etude House Bubble Hair Color in Gold Blonde and I also bought the Mocha Pink shade for my sister who is also contemplating on having her hair colored. Oh, I got something extra from Etude House. I got a free Etude House Pink Membership club and this, I dunno, lotion, maybe? So I'm an official Etude House Princess now I guess? LOL

I won't be teaching you guys, anymore, how to use the Etude House Bubble Hair Color because that would just be redundant. I already posted a step-by-step procedure on how to use the Etude House Bubble Hair Color, so if you want to know how, just click THIS.

The Result:

I know I won't get the blonde color as shown in the box but I'm hoping that my hair would get the lightest possible color in can have. Honestly, I want to color my hair cotton candy blue of some sort; so once I resign (not that I'm planning on doing it soon) from work, that will DEFINITELY be my first goal. Anyway, the result didn't really disappoint me; although I wish I could have waited a few more minutes before I rinse the product off of my hair. You see, I washed it exactly after 30 minutes but that's because it's getting a bit itchy and I'm getting a bit impatient because I really want to sleep already. But, I like the result although I might have focused more on the front part of my hair and not much on the back part. The front part is quite lighter than the back; but it's okay. I dunno if you'd also get the similar result in your hair because, initially, I already have a color on mine using the Etude House Bubble Hair Color in Sweet Orange; so this is actually the result of having that hair color previously.

As for the Mocha Pink shade, sorry because I didn't get to have a picture of my sister taken. She's quite the camera shy; but the result on her hair was just a dark brown shade which shines pinkish brown under the light. It's natural looking and very beautiful. She's got a natural black hair color in the beginning; hence the result. So please keep in my mind that result will vary depending on your current hair color.

Nope, my hair didn't dry out because it has its own conditioning treatment and I maintain my hair's moisture by using the Snoe Hair Heroes Extreme. It's one of my most favorite hair products to date. So after you DIY your hair color, make sure that you use a product to maintain the moisture of your hair because being experimental with your hair also takes a lot of time and effort to maintain and take care. That's the price you'd have to pay.

What do you think of the result? I actually like it. But I think I'm gonna get bored after a few months so expect a new hair color after, 6 months, perhaps? Haha! Till next post! ;)

  1. I should've bought the blond shade! I bought Mocha Pink and hindi gumana sakin. I had my hair colored with EH Bubble coloring Natural Brown before, medyo nagwork pero di intense. Yung Mocha Pink, parang wala lang. Haha or maybe I did something wrong in the process.

  4. Oooooh interesting. :) I think I wanna get the gold blonde shade too! :D

Btw, I'm pretty sure that the sachet contains body wash, because I have one in full size, unless EH came out with a different product in the same flavor (which is very much possible :D)

  5. I used the Sweet Orange and it looked ombre-ish on me. Ergo, not too dark on the roots, lol. I'm going for either Gold Blonde or Red next time. :)

    1. I guess it depends on how you apply it on your hair. I really rubbed the product on my roots hence I have more on my roots and less at the back part of my hair. xP

    1. The Mocha Pink wasn't very striking pero it's good if you want a natural looking brown color on your hair with a pinkish glow under the sunlight. Thanks Jem! :)

    1. I was scared at first; but once you get the hang of it, okay naman talaga. Plus, accdg to the EH sales lady I got to talk with, You can use this as often as you like as it doesn'r damage the hair and it's ammonia free daw :)

  14. Just want to ask ano color ng hair mo sa before photo? Di naman siya totally black diba? Kasi yung hair color ko ngayon parang dark brown-ish since I used the EH Natural Brown shade 2 months ago. So I'm wondering if magiging the same effect sakin nung Golden Blonde, nakakatakot kasi gamitin hahaha.
