OOTD: Thankful at 30

One of the highlights of my year is my health and fitness journey. If you’ve all read a blog post I wrote last year about how unhealthy I started, I am proud to say that I am now on the path toward being healthier and better. The weight loss, right now, may have slowed down, but it’s because I’m gaining more muscle mass and I’ve become stronger.

OOTD: Going Back Isn't Always Bad

As much as I would hate to admit it, insecurity never left my system.

There would be times when I’d yearn for validation because I am still often haunted by the seemingly perfect faces and bodies I see on my social media feed. And I know that I always preach about confidence, but the truth is, sometimes I get so drowned with all these images of how I should be that I would look at myself and feel disgusted no matter how far I’ve gone in my fitness journey.

OOTD: Standing Like a Rock

I always tell people that I’m very ambitious and driven; but behind it all, I am also a person of integrity, or at least I try my best to be. It is easy to be persuaded and blinded by the superficial things in this world; so before I make any decisions, I make sure that I would base it, not only for my own sake, but also if it would hurt other people or  go against what I believe in and stand for.

OOTD: Keeping it Simple

With sister, Czarina of TheBlackSheeproject.blogspot.com
Here in the Philippines, it's customary to go to the cemetery on All Saints' and All Souls' Day. It actually kind of becomes a mini-reunion of some sort with your whole clan so everyone's pretty excited for it. Plus! This year's All Saints' and All Souls' Day is a super long weekend. Isn't that just awesome? Everyone's pretty excited for it and I'm one of them. Yipee! Although we just went to the nearest cemetery and it wasn't a big reunion because I just live next door to my grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins, it was still a pretty awesome night with all of 'em. Best part of it all is getting to try all the street foods available just at the entrance of the cemetery.

The Reebok Realflex Experience

"Let's go! Hey what's happenin'? We drinkin' tonight, girl? Drinkin' tonight with me, boy? Put your drinks up..." That was my cellphone alarm: Patron Tequila by Paradiso Girls. It went like that two Saturdays ago. I look at the clock and it says 5:00 AM. Okay, got to give Jin his breakfast and get ready for my morning jogging vow. Comfy shirt, check; Jogging pants, check; rubber shoes, che... Oh, wait. Damn. That sucks. I just saw the jelly-like stuff on the sole of my rubber shoes slowly sneaking out. I just can't believe it. I need a new pair of rubber shoes and a damn good one perfect for my morning jog.

The Reebok Experience Zone

I received an email regarding an invite to a Crossfit event with Reebok. Honestly, I have zero idea as to what Crossfit is but I'm not dumb enough to not know what Reebok is. Teehee! Anyway, I got really curious as to what it is. Something inside me wants to Google it out but I actually want it to be a surprise so I resisted the urge of Googling what Crossfit is and amaze myself on what I'd see on the event itself.
