FOTD: Midnight Romance
Happy weekend everyone! I've been going out a bit much these past few days. Oh, I'm just stressed and been thinking about lots of things lately. Yeah, I'm an emo now. LOL. Kiddin' aside, I went out again tonight (Sunday) but it's a family affair so all's good. However, Sat night, I was actually out with a few good friends for some good talk with some good booze. Well, we're young aren't we? Let us be, please! Hahaha!

Vampires in the Sun
Hey guys! How's your summer so far? The heat feels like it's gonna burn my already dark skin. Hahaha! Anyway, even though it's summer and most of the photo shoots you'd encounter would most probably have a summer theme, this photo shoot is way different. You see, we decided to do a goth themed shoot titled: Vampires in the Sun. Goths posing under the heat of the sun... Now that's interesting right. I did the makeup for the three girls here. We actually shoot one guy but his theme is more of summer and I just did a light makeup with highlights and nude lips on him so not much to show you there; but these girls, they just look oh-so scary, glamorous and fabulous.

Recognition Day Makeup Look
Hey y’all! It’s been ages ago
since I last posted a makeup look and I’m really sorry for that. You see, my
camera just met an early death and I won’t be able to blog much about makeup
look since I’d have to borrow my mum’s camera for it. Need to save up for a
better camera this time around! Any, umm, sponsors? LOL. Anyway, here’s a new
makeup look, not mine, but my sister’s. I actually did her hair and makeup for
her recognition day. Forgive the hair, I still need loads of practice on that
part.

FOTD: An 80s Makeup Look
My last blog post was about my OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) from last night's 80's themed party for the 25th anniversary of KMBI. Now, I am posting my FOTD (Face Of The Day) and a few instructions on how I did this 80's makeup look.
When I searched google as to how people from the 80's do their makeup, I found out that their makeup doesn't always need to be neat and clean. Their eyes are always colorful and I was glad that I will be able to practice my creativity here.
WHAT I USED:
EYES
- ELF Eyelid Primer
- Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil in Brown
- Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Volume and Curve Mascara
- Shawill False Eyelashes
- Props Tools and Cosmetics Ultimate Too Palette
FACE
- Aerie Color Hydrating Foundation in Almond
LIPS
- Ever Bilena Pro Lipstick with Shimmer in Auburn Bronze
HAIR
- Bench Fix Professional Clay Doh Molding Clay
- Fashion 21 Hair Spray
HOW I DID IT:
For the face, I used my Charm Pro Stippling Brush to apply the Aerie Color Hydrating Foundation in Almond all over my face. I love this liquid foundation because aside from being hydrating, it is also a matte foundation. Who could have ever thought that a matte foundation could be hydrating, right?

| The colors I used encircled |
For my lips, I applied the Ever Bilena Pro Lipstick with Shimmer in Auburn Bronze all over my lips. I used to hate this lipstick color because it doesn't match my skin tone but for the 80's look it just looks perfect.
For my hair, I used the Bench Fix Professional Clay Doh Molding Clay all over my hair and then teased the back part leaving my bangs as it is. After teasing, I used the Fashion 21 Hair Spray to hold the teased part of my hair.
A lot of people says that the 80's era had the greatest music but the worst fashion and makeup look. True enough, the makeup look and fashion sense of that era is over-the-top but in my opinion, it's because people in that era are so much into releasing their creativity. What do you think? Tell me your thoughts at the comments section below! Till next post!

New Beauty Items for my Collection
It's been awhile since I last had a makeup post and I apologize for that. I have opened up before that I want to start fashion blogging because I want to prove a point. I want to show everyone that my shape won't stop me from doing what I love to do and so far, Fashion events have been pouring in one after another. It's October! Fashion month, I guess. Whatever. I really don't know.
Anyway, last night, a Props Palette arrived at home. It's the Props Ultimate Palette. I would be using this to do everyone's makeup during KMBI's 25th Anniversary Party on the 28th. It has an 80's theme so makeup would be fun. Will be posting the looks I have made. Watch out for that. Thanks to Props Tools and Cosmetics for the code they gave me to avail of 15% off of the minimum of P500 worth of purchase. And of course, I would be sharing this to everyone so take this down.
We call this the: I HEARD IT FROM THE AFFILIATES promo and this will run until the 20th of November, 2011. This is a one time use per customer and can be availed for items or total purchase of P500 and above only. The code is: W52F1U0UDSZ. And please do shop using this link: http://www.gelleesh.com/p/shop-at-props-tools-cosmetics.html.
And because I was itching to use the palette, I played with it a bit and created a simple 80's eye makeup look on my sister's face:
I'm leaving my reactions and stuff I want to say about this palette next time on my official review. I don't want to post any spoilers. My next review might be swatch-filled too so hope you'd love that one.
Aside from the Props Palette I got, the Sigma Brush which I have won from DGS Beauty last August, I think, has already arrived. At last! I paid P100 for the customs fee/tax or whatever but it was worth it. The Miss Taylor Kabuki Brush seems like it has a great quality judging by my initial reaction upon opening the box. I'll try to make a review of this brush soon.
So that's it for now. I've been pretty exhausted with the 80's dance practice, events and everything else; but I can't totally complain because I'm having a great time. I guess I chose the right work and work place.
Till next post! :)

FOTD: One Fine Sunday
One fine Sunday, I decided to do this look. LOL. This is the look I had when I went to the church together with a brown off-shoulder vintage looking-floral dress. The dress may be"manang" type for some but I do love the vintage look and I think it looks good on me so I'm disregarding the "manang" stereotype. Anyway, we're talking about my makeup look, right?
PRODUCTS USED:
EYES
- Shawill Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil & Brush
- ELF Eyelid Primer
- Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine
- Love & Beauty Smokey Palette
- Wet N Wild Color Icon Brow and Eyeliner in Black
- Rimmel Waterproof Sexy Curves Full Volume and Curve Mascara
FACE
- Belo Essential Day Cover
- Aerie Color Matte Liquid Foundation in Almond
- Maybelline FITME Blush in Medium Coral
- Beauty Treats Minerals Camouflage Mineral in Medium
LIPS
- NYX Round Lipstick in Frappucino
- NYC Liquid Lipshine in Fashion Ave Fuchsia
HOW I DID IT:
Remember the first step is to always apply the moisturizer first and foremost before doing your daily makeup routine. After the moisturizer, I applied the Aerie Color Matte Liquid Foundation in Almond by stippling and blending it all over my face using the Charm Pro Stippling Brush. Even though it's a matte foundation and it gives off a powdery finish, I still want to play safe and set it off with the Beauty Treats Minerals Camouflage Mineral in Medium using my ELF Total Face Brush. For my blush , I used the Props Blush Brush to apply the Maybelline FITME Blush in Medium Coral on my cheekbone going slantly upwards.
Let's now proceed with the eyes. First I did was line my brows with the Shawill Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil & Brush. After that, I applied the ELF Eyelid Primer all over my lids and used my Marionnaud Brush to apply the lighter brown shade from my Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine on my lids and the darker brown shade on my crease. After blending it well, I used the white shade from my Love & Beauty Smokey Palette to highlight my brow bone. For my waterline, I used the Wet N Wild Color Icon Brow and Eyeliner in Black and the Rimmel Waterproof Sexy Curves Full Volume and Curve Mascara as my mascara after curling my lashes with the G-Lish Eyelash Curler.
For my lips, I applied first the NYX Round Lipstick in Frappucino and since it gave my lips a kind of like a nude look, I topped it with the NYC Liquid Lipshine in Fashion Ave Fuchsia.
This is almost similar to yesterday's FOTD but the difference in liquid foundation made a big difference. The FOTD yesterday gave my face a natural and refreshed look while this one made it look blemish-free and smooth. Great coverage for the Aerie Color Matte Liquid Foundation in Almond.
Till next post! ;)

FOTD: The Family Reunion
I went to Bulacan with my family today. I woke up a bit late so I kind of need to rush with my makeup and everything. I only applied liquid foundation and lined my brows at home and did the rest of this look inside Sporty (our Sportivo's name. LOL). The curled hair isn't originally part of the look. My cousin did this and it turned out great (for me). So let's start with how I did this.
PRODUCTS USED:
EYES
- Shawill Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil & Brush
- ELF Eyelid Primer
- Purple Eyeliner
- Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine
- Love Minerals by Human Nature Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanted Evening
- Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Volume & Curve Mascara (Waterproof)
FACE
- Belo Essentials Day Cover
- Beauty Treats Liquid Foundation in Beige
- Beauty Treats Camouflage Mineral Concealer in Medium
- Sansan Concealer in Beige
- Maybelline FITME Blush in Medium Coral
LIPS
- Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm in Sweet Strawberry
- Almay Ideal Lipcolor in Pink

| Makeup and tools I used |
HOW I DID IT:
First I applied the Belo Essentials Day Cover all over my face. It contains SPF 15 to keep my face protected from the UV rays of the sun (Bongga!). After that, I applied the Beauty Treats Liquid Foundation in Beige using the Charm Stippling Brush and used the Beauty Treats Camouflage Mineral Concealer in Medium to set it on my face. I remembered an article I read wherein Kim Kardashian likes using concealer on her cheek bone, so I did. Using my Charm Stippling Brush again, I applied the Sansan Concealer in Beige on my cheek bone and using the Props Tools & Cosmetics Blush Brush from the 20pc Brush Set, I applied the Maybelline FITME Blush in Medium Coral below my cheek bone.
For my eyes, I lined first my brows using the Shawill Eyebrow/Eyeliner Pencil & Brush. Then, I applied the ELF Eyelid Primer on my lids. This is actually my first time to use a primer and it really did prevent the colors on my eyes to crease and it brought out the color more. For the colors I used, I applied lighter brown shade on my Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Rosewine and the darker brown shade on my crease. I was looking for a color to highlight my brows and I forgot to bring a white eyeshadow, so I used the lightest purple shade from my Love Minerals by Human Nature Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanted Evening and I think it worked out pretty great. Then I used the Purple Eyeliner on my waterline and used the G-Lish Eyelash Curler I bought recently which only costs P50 and it even comes with a pair of tweezers. Pretty neat, right? For my mascara, I used the Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Volume & Curve Mascara (Waterproof). Aside from L'Oreal Voluminous Naturale, this is definitely one of my favorite mascaras.
For my lips, I used the G-Lish Lip Brush to apply the Watsons Moisturizing Lip Balm in Sweet Strawberry and then used the Almay Ideal Lipcolor in Pink to add color.
I loved this look because it looks naturaland not overly done. I'm so through with overly done makeup. I remember my college days, when I was still flunking makeup, I used to think bright blue eyeshadow looks great and when I saw my pics back then, I just wished I knew how to apply makeup during those picture. They were just so crazy.
Anyway, how was your Saturday? Hope you all had a great one! Till next post! ;)

20 PC Brush Set from Props Tools & Cosmetics
![]() |
| The Holy Package! :D |
I went on an under time at work today because I had to go to my dentist so she could install this rubber thingy around my teeth as a prep for my braces tomorrow. Scared and excited at the same time. As a beauty blogger, I feel the need to continuously improve myself and these braces will help me with that. I'd be wearing them for a year and a half if I am consistent with my dentist visits and I will be.
![]() |
| It's in PINK! OMG! ;) |
After my dental appointment, I went home and finally laid my hands on my new brush set from Props Tools and Cosmetics. It's a 20 pc brush set which only costs P1,100. They are all natural goat hair and they're very soft to use. If you think, however, that the 20 pc brush set is too much for your needs, you can try their 16 pc brush set. The difference is that the 20 pc brush set has more eyeshadow brushes and it has a stippling brush. The 16 pc brush set costs P970. Affordable set of brushes, eh? They also have palettes at affordable prices and as well as concealers and corrector palettes. I would want to try out their palettes soon.
![]() |
| This is it, pansit! :D |
Anyway, I'd be making a review about their brushes one of these days. I am quite overwhelmed at their eyeshadow brushes plus I have lots of brushes to clean now. Need to give more time in cleaning brushes now. I love that it comes in a pink pack because I so love pink. It is travel friendly and I can bring this to future makeup projects and even everyday wherever I'd be going because it's light and I can fit this in the bags I regularly use.
Do you already have a brush set? Where'd you buy it? If you don't have one yet, would you consider purchasing this one? Comment below your thoughts. Would be looking forward to interacting with you guys!
Till next post! ;)

NOTW: Glitters and Vanity
This is supposed to be just another Nail Of The Week post; but I just want to share a few things with you and I don't want to make a separate blog post which will only talk about myself. So, I am merging my Nail Of The Week post for today to a personal post.
Let's start off with my Nail Of The Week. This is not a nail art. I just want to use the NYX Nail Polish I bought last time during the Phil-Cosmetics Expo. This is the NYX Nail Polish in Under the Moon. It is not a blue polish; but more of a blue-glittered polish. To achieve this opaque look, I need to apply up to 3-4 coats. I love the grungy texture it has and the bigger glitters really stick on your nails (unlike this one polish with heart glitters).
I actually love the NYX Nail Polishes and I'm gonna be buying more soon at Digital Traincase. They just cost P150 each. Ain't that such a bargain?
Anyway, updates on what's up with my life. Tomorrow is my birthday. Yey! No big plans actually. I told my officemates that I won't be treating them anything; but I actually talked to Pizza Hut at SM Valenzuela already about a Pizza for my dear officemates in the RM&C Department and some other friends from other department. It's a surprise; but if they read my blog, they'd know. LOL.

| My new home-office chair. Look at my cp's wallpaper. SoGelleesh! <3 |
I will be getting braces on Sat. It's mom and dad's birthday gift. Vanity above everything else, that's what I say! Oh, and thanks again to my parents for getting me and my two sisters this office chair. It's so comfortable working on my desk using my new office chair instead of my old monoblock chair. Yey!
Oh and my sister, Czai, is my sponsor for my upcoming brush set from Props Tools & Cosmetics. Thanks Ditch! I call her Ditch, short for Ditse because she is the 2nd ate and that's how most of us, Filipinos, call them.
So I guess that's it for now. Thanks for the people who have already greeted me, to those who support my blog, to my mentors, to my blogger friends, high school friends, college friends, ex-office mates and everyone else.
Do join my first giveaway this September. You'll win (2) The Spa Gift Certificates. I will be having giveaways the whole month of September because this is my birth month and I am very thankful that I have such an amazing life, friends, family and career.
Till next post!
